I had purchased a pair of Sony HDMI cables from Wal-Mart for $34.00; they were the least expensive cables that Walmart sold.
I brought these cables from Amazon (2/3 weeks later?)after reading the customer reviews about them; they are flexible (Sony’s are stiff) and they do the job for me.

I’m a fiftysomething guy who has technology problems. The iPod wasn’t too hard to figure out. I kinda had buyer’s remorse for a week or so but now I would hate to be without it. One of my favorite things I didn’t even know about when I got it was the Kindle app from Amazon that allows me to read books. I put all my CDs in using the iTunes program and it caused me to listen to lots of my old music I hadn’t heard for a long while which was a plus. I don’t like the glass front and scratched it trying to keep it clean. So I put a Zagg invisible shield on it which I think is an amazing product but not for everybody. It gives it a feel like the touchpad on a microwave and a bit of an orange peel texture to the appearance but indestructible. If I had it to do over I would. I’m giving it four stars instead of five cause I would have liked to get it cheaper.

Where else can you see (hear) all your favorite punks in one film?
The Clay-mation is amazing. I want to buy all the dolls-when are they making them? John Roecker is brilliant. A must see for any true punk rocker.

The mount wasn’t working all that well in the beginning. In sharper turns the mount would slide on the dash. After a year or so it totally lost it’s friction properties and even medium fast turn makes it fly off the dash. Garbage.

I loved my Kindle 2. Loved, loved, loved. However, after not using it for a couple months due to a strenuous time at work, I pulled it out yesterday to start ordering and reading some books. The first thing I see is my screen showing me the “Critical Battery / your battery is empty” message. Ok, that’s understandable since I haven’t used it in a while so I plug in the charger and go about my day. Roughly eight hours later I unplug the power-cable and pick up the Kindle only to see the same “Critical Battery” message on my screen. The power-slider-button-thing has no effect. Searching the web for answers I attempt three different strategies to “reboot” it, all to no avail. So, this morning I contact Kindle CS. During this call, a very friendly CS rep has me repeat the “reboot” steps I’d already tried and…nothing. Reboot without power-cord? Nothing. Reboot with power-cord? Nothing. Hold down power for 20 secs, then the “home” button? Nothing.

The short of it: Since my Kindle 2 is out of warranty there’s nothing Amazon can do for me except sell me a re-furbished Kindle for $159. WTF? I don’t read a book for two-three months and my $300 Kindle is bricked? Are you kidding me? Oh yeah, the CS said my “other option” was to just go ahead and buy a new Kindle since the refurbs only have a 90-day warranty on them and this problem may arise again…

The morale of the story: Until you read that there’s been a firmware update to resolve this “Critical Battery” issue, save your money and don’t buy a Kindle. Clearly there’s more R&D needed for this, otherwise, awesome device.

What a shame, because if it worked it’s a fantastic product. As it is now, it’s a time-bomb, and expensive time bomb at that.

Given that the flesh memory is getting cheaper and cheaper by the minutes It’s kinna hard to make a review here. But overall Transcend has the best price/amount of memory ratio. I’ve been using it for about 6 months now with my digital camera and had no problems what so ever.
Kenwood KPAHD100 Heads Up

About one third way through the book, I started dreading when it was over. This book transports you to the dark secrets of a circus, bright and attractive visuals, love, hate, and a character that transforms before your eyes!
The author has a wonderful way of being concise, yet still making the story come alive with great detail.

I LOVE THIS BOOK. I cried when it was over BECAUSE it was over. It is my favorite book and all of my past favorites are classics. I am afraid that I will never find another book filled with the elements I like again.

If you are attracted to the past, history, the circus, a little non-cheesy romance, READ THIS!

Wheels Mfg R101 cone

i recieved it a head of schedule and it was easy to install. i bought it because my free trail of word was about to expire. I have come to love using onenote and i have used it more than any of the other products. Onenote is easy to use and i can save any info i find and file it with one click. It comes in handy for planning babyshowers, parties, or even organizing username and passwords. i like the user guide and it even showed me how to insert a hyperlink(sp) and it allowed me to put all my ideas for my daughters room make over in one place and move things around on the screen so i can visualize what it would actually look like. I highly recommend if only for onenote.
Space Long Sleeve T

I bought one for myself.
I run with it all the time. I only use simple functions and I have no complain.
The function I use most often is the interval training function (run x min and then walk y min)
It shows distance, time, speed, heart rate, calories burned, etc very clearly.
I am very satisfied with it.

However, I probably didn’t read some descriptions well.
I was all excited and bought this back home (to Taiwan) to my father.
And then I realized it was sooooo difficult to get signal there…. (only succeeded once or twice…)
I believe it will work very well for a lot of countries (it has a lot of lanugage choice), but still please check first if you are going to use this in other countries.

Knilling Deluxe Shoulder Rest

I just received my scale today. After an easy setup (install included batteries, set on floor, get on and off the scale ONCE to allow the scale to enter a self calibration mode) and when calibration was complete, I was able to weigh myself repeatedly with the same weight results returned each time, to the decimal (.2 pound increments.)

Just to be clear, calibration is only necessary when installing batteries or when the scale is moved. Otherwise, the scale truly is “Step-On” and weigh yourself (no more tapping the scale to turn it on as noted in many of the reviews of the earlier model sold until sometime earlier this month, March 2010.)

The scale has a nice finish and feels solid below my feet even though it has a small footprint, which I like.

SO! A thumbs up from me. Now I need to go lose some weight… if only that was as easy as setting up the scale! :)
