I knew I wanted a Medela, but some of their pumps count in at 8 poundings, and I knew I didn’t want anything that NEEDED to employ the complimentary ” fashionable back pack “. When I found the Swing, and read the reviews, I knew it was what I wanted. It is closely every bit compact as hand pumps, but applies the same two phase natural process as the more expensive Medela Breast Pump. It is comfortable to employ, I’ve had no problems with leaking out, it appears more efficient and in general I merely actually like this pump. You can employ forked A batteries to powerfulness it, which is with child if you are locomoting ( Aerodrome? Camping?) The best part though, came about five minute ago when I brought in that the threads on the Swing match the threads on dope Airvent bottles that are the lone ones we can get Doctor of Divinity to use! ! No more random bottles, and no more pumping in to one container so pouring into another container to use! .
The Swing Pump is very decent since you can adjust the measure of sucking to your liking. I does not hurt like all the Medical Grade ones I have essayed and bought. It is not as noisy as some have evoked . I makes the same measure of noise that any electric pump urinates . And the lone reason that milk gets sucked up in the tubing is if the white membrane sticks and doesn’t let the milk drop into the bottle (so you have to help it not stick by manually pulling the flap open a couple of times until the milk flows by itself). And that can be a reason why the sucking is not every bit full too (the membrane may be fatigued and asks exchanging). I have had to speak with many lactation nurses and I employ Olive Oil on my tits before I pump indeed that it doesn’t irretate my nipples when pumping (makes it smoother not as harsh). I also massage my white meats as I pump. This is a MAJOR reason why some women can not give rise every bit much when they pump.
