This is what my teachers in college would pompously call “subliterature” and what can I say, even when I was picking this book from the racks of the library I was kind of feeling guilty! I’m way past the target age for it, and I usually like my litterature to be more “constructed”, but I just let myself spend a couple of hours in an incredibly easy read, letting the twilight universe catch me in it. Some of the characters are inconsistent, Edward is always so perfect and misterious and Bella is obnoxious most of the time, but there’s no better way to change your mood after a busy day at work. I cannot say why, but this story soothes me better than any long bath.
Like I said, a pure moment of guilty pleasure. Now, where is my doughnut?

I’ve been using this watch for about 2 months now for running. I just LOVE it. I love that I can just run where I want (instead of pre-mapped out routes) and I can still keep track of my mileage. I also love that I can hook it up to my computer when I get home and can see my elevation changes, heart rate (so I can see how much I was pushing myself), and pace for my entire run. I use the pace feature a lot while I’m running, too. I think it’s been great for my workouts! No complaints.

one 0f the best books I have ever read. Being from the south and growing up in that era I especially enjoyed it. There are some things that happened in our country that I am not very proud of. Thank God I came from a very loving, Christian family and we never mistreated anyone,no matter the color. howeveer, the book is exactly as it was back then. Some people were good from the heart, and some were ignorant. I would recommend it to anyone to read. I could not put it down.

The Wii for me: I have had the Wii for about 2 months and I am not very impressed. I have not found a game for Wii that I can get lost in for hours or even a game that I really look forward to playing. Instead, it’s more of a cure – or a band-aid – for boredom.
The truth about gameplay: You cheat. Most everyone cheats. People don’t hold the remote like a baseball bat or a golf club; they hold it with one hand and do half hearted swings. This has been the case with every game I’ve played thus far. Also, holding a remote or gun up to the screen is not something I can do for hours. Mario Kart is the only game that I can play with my arms on my lap.
The fitness aspect: Using the Wii for fitness (I have Wii fit & EA Active) may work for seniors or pregnant women but for the vast majority, it’s a joke. Run in place, move your arms around and balance on one leg etc… If you are serious about getting in shape, don’t count on the Wii to help you.
For get-togethers: The Wii is fun with other people. If you have people over a lot or live in a dorm-like setting, the Wii could be a bonus but I don’t remember going over to anyone’s place specifically to play some Wii.
The people I have noticed that like the Wii: Nintendo junkies, parents, younger kids, and people in dorms.
The people I have noticed that don’t like the Wii: Singles 18-35 that enjoy rated R movies and don’t go to church.
The Wii is not horrible. It’s not exactly fun either. It’s just something to do when there’s nothing else going on.
