I thought The Help was one of the best books I ever read. I lived in the South during this time period (in North Carolina)and sadly some of the white people portrayed were similar to people I met there and elsewhere in the South. I bought it on Kindle for myself and bought the hardcover to give it to my daughter and told her to pass it on to her daughters (16 & 13)

This woman unlocked the secret to health and longevity over fifty years ago, and the medical community and the drug companies have kept the knowledge from us to secure their profits.
The book is translated from her native German and therefore, a bit challenging to read in context of language. But an excellent compilation of several of her speeches through the years.
Buy the book, read it, make the change and live.
