This book is obviously a favorite among avid readers. I was surprised to find that it is not available on the Amazon Kindle. For everyone reading this, I would very much appreciate if you would click the link underneath the book image that says “I’d like to read this on the Kindle.” Thank you.

Purchased the Hoover Tempo Widepath Upright Vacuum, Bagged, because I wanted a reasonably priced vacuum with a good rating. This vacuum has good power – but a bit noisy. I have had other vacuums in my 40 years of vacuuming so I know what is noisy and what is not. Also, this vacuum does not get the edges so you have to use the hose attachments to clean up around the edges of a floor. I prefer a bagged vacuum and for me this vacuum will do the job with a few minor items I have to work around – like not cleaning the edges and the noise part, which will bother no one but those sleeping.
I would purchase this vacuum again for the power, the bagged feature, and the price.

Somewhat mystified at the raves. This scale acts exactly like every other cheap digital scale I’ve owned: it is inconsistent, and also gets “stuck” at certain weights. Try this experiment: keep a five pound weight near the scale. Weigh yourself once normally, then again with the weight, and then a final time without. The last weight will often be different from the first. Just getting on and off several times in a row isn’t the same, because it also gets stuck.

If you weigh exactly the same to the tenth of a pound for several days in a row, it’s probably stuck. try the weight trick above and it seems to reset it–I’ve seen differences up to 2 lbs over or under after a reset with something a bit heavier. I’ve also had some extremely frustrating diet attempts in the past with digital scales, because I’d actually lost weight but the scale was stuck.
Offray Treasures For Baby

I listened to the unabridged audio CD version as I drove the last couple of weeks. I know that the book was (and is) a wildly popular bestseller, but I have to confess that the thought that kept nagging at me as I listened was why? I’m not saying this is a bad book. It is somewhat engaging. However, I didn’t find any of the characters particularly vivid or humanly multi-dimensional. And as soon as Rosie the elephant was added to the circus, halfway through the book, I had a (correct) feeling as to where the plot line was moving, so no surprise ending. I have no idea whether circus life in the prohibition era was anything like this, so can’t comment on the authenticity of the backdrop, but I found it pretty depressing. Altogether, a pretty so-so read.

The book is simple. The dialogue is drawn out, redundant, and quite boring. i suppose there is an interesting twist to the story but it wasn’t enough to get me to finish the book. I tried to plod on given all the hype but began to dread reading more of it, so couldn’t make it past the middle.

This awesome brush is the only reason my home made it through my dog shedding her puppy coat. I never had enough time to give her the best brushing treatment I could. She would just keep shedding and shedding. I few minutes each day with this yellow beauty and my home was less furry and my allergies were a bit happier too.

I feel like some sort of new religious convert when I find myself talking about the FURminator. I saw the adds on TV when it came out, and thought “Yeah right!”. Then I saw one in my local feed store, and on closer inspection did not thin it was considerably different to a lot of other shedding blades/rakes I’d seen for grooming (I’ve owned horses, dogs, and cats for years). However, there was a money back guarantee if not completely blown away, so I thought I’d give it a chance. It is amazing!!!! I use it on my Labrador and it takes out her undercoat so that if I use it once a week during shedding season we avoid the “cloud of hair” routine that usually occurs every time I pet her. The rest of the year I use it once a month or so and it removes whatever she is normally shedding. It DOES NOT CUT THE HAIR!!! I have heard people say they think it does, and given the amount of hair that comes off with each pull of the brush I can see why they think that is the case…. but if I use it on my dog #1- eventually I am getting less and less hair, and if it was cutting the hair I do not believe that would be the case and #2- if you look at the hair on the FURminator it is not cut, and when I check my dogs coat there is no evidence of a ragged effect that would occur at the time of grooming/or as the hair grew out if it had been cut. I have also used this on my cat with great success (she even likes it) and on my Border Terrier. The Border Terrier should be hand stripped, so this helps with his under coat a bit, but doe not take the place of hand stripping. It is good for between stripping sessions though. I have also lent it to a friend with a Chihuahua with a short slick coat (I was not sure it would work on a coat like that), and she was amazed by the amount of hair she got off of her dog. She then took it to a family get together and her mom and sister used it on the Newfoundland mix (no surprise it was GREAT there) and the cattle dog (Ausie mix, made an amazi

Even though he has it memorized, he loves to watch it and “sing” along and, especially, growl with the dragon. It’s a boy thing, ok? :-D

My other children love it as well. And, as with the other musical Baby Einstein videos, this one is not annoying to parents. A big plus in children’s video today.
