Disney princess game. Got this for my daughter for Christmas and she hasn’t stopped playing since she got it.

Cute, fun, educational Princess games. This is one of my 5 year-old’s favorite game cartridges. She likes the other Disney Princess cartridge also. The games on this one are:

(Ariel games which focus on shapes, numbers, math)

Hermit Crab Shuffle – use the stylus to help Ariel select the hermit crab with the correct answer written on it’s shell

Sea Searchin’ – use the D pad to help Flounder swim to the bubble with the correct answer in it

(Belle games that focus on letters, phonics, spelling, memory)

Dish Dash – use the stylus to help Chip select the dish with the correct answer on it

Snow Ride – use the D-pad to help Belle ride her horse through the snow to reach the log with the correct answer on it

In all four games there are special objects which can be caught for bonus points.

The package lists the features this way:

Mathematics Skills;

Shapes

Line of symmetry

Greater then/less than

Counting to 100

Skip counting to 100

Skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s

Odds and evens

Addition to 18

Subtraction to 18

Phonics Skills;

Uppercase and lowercase

Letter sounds

Sight words

Substituting sounds in words

Consonant blends (fr, sl, mp)

Consonant digraphs (sh, th, wh, ch, ck)

CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words

Silent e words

The other Disney Princess cartridge, which features Ariel and Cinderella instead of Belle, has more games than this one, but those extra games are less challenging. If you’re trying to decide between the two, I would suggest the other cartridge for players who could use more practice writing and using a pencil/stylus. Other than that, both cartridges require the same skills and offer room for growth at different levels.

If you love Spongebob…this if for you!!. This is a great game. I even was playing LeapFrog Leapster Learning Game: SpongeBob SquarePants Saves the Day and getting excited. Its great educational and lots of fun too.

Spongebob+Leapster=Learning!. I highly recommend this Spongebob cartridge for the Leapster system! My little boy is a big spongebob fan and on Christmas morning he got from Santa a leapster and some Leapster games, of course Spongebob is one of his favorites. My little boy is almost 4 and he completely understands each game included on the spongebob cartridge and in the 3 months we have had this game he is already going to higher levels with the game. It teaches while letting your child have fun and that is what is the most important, if your child is having fun while learning they will continue to keep learning!

This spongebob cartridge teaches the values of money, colors, music game and more. The voices sound the same as on the cartoon and it keeps my little boy intrested in playing it still after 3 months he plays this game on a daily basis!

I would suggest this leapster cartridge for all!

stick to manufacturer’s age. I saw this item on several websites with a recommended age of 3-6 years. I bought it for my son today (he got the leapster for Christmas) The age recommendation on the box is 5-8 yrs. My son is 4 and although he likes Sponge Bob, he told me he can’t do it & asked me to play the games while he watches. Even the level 1 games are conciderably more difficult than the games on the cartridge that came with the toy. One section involves counting coins. I’m sure he will “grow into” the games and learn them from watching me- he sits on my lap while I play. I would definitely recommend this one for a slightly older child.

When will we wake up. It’s about time people admitted that this is the worst board game ever invented.

Totally devoid of anything needed to win other than luck of the die this game is about roll and move… roll and move… repeat.

Eventually people will begin to trade, if you do not the game will never end. Someone will trade something they shouldn’t have, and the dice will then (eventually) cause that person to lane on something they can not pay for. Where is the skill, where is the fun?

Let’s add to this that the great time of a game can take 4 to 5 hrs to finish. Features player elimination so that a few of the people will have to sit around and watch the game grind to an end or maybe find something else to do for a few hours.

Why do people keep buying this? There are better games. Much better games exist out there. These games involve thinking, and can be finished in less than 2 hours. You can find them by going to Google and searching on “board game”.

Think about LeapFrog Leapster Learning Game: Up before you buy this stinker.

Sometimes the money gets bent, but it’s really fun!. This game is so fun and educational. It builds math skills and it teaches you how to make a honest trade. This game will provide hours of fun for everyone in the apporiate age group.

An American Classic. For over 70 years, Americans (both adults and children) have enjoyed playing Monopoly. If your company has an annual Christmas toy drive for children who might not otherwise receive a present, this would be a great gift to add to the pile. In addition to being fun, this game would help disadvantaged children develop their math skills, learn the principle of cost-benefit analysis by discerning which trades are and are not worth making, develop the negotiating skills necessary to make beneficial trades (and avoid being talked into making bad trades), and hone their strategic thinking abilities.
