This wii console brought me much fun. But the technology is kind of outdated. Recent release of Xbox kinetic and PS3 maybe a better investment.

We have bought several scales in the last year and none of them give accurate readings. You could get on them 5 times in a row and each time get a different reading. With this scale, we put it to the test just like one of the other reviewers says. We got on it 5 times in a row and each time, we got the same reading! Once in a while, I will still give it a test to make sure, and I’m never dissappointed. It’s the same each time! I LOVE this scale and it really is the best scale we’ve ever bought!

I wish I found this product earlier! My dog is a lab mix, with very fine straight hair. She has terrible shedding problems when she is patted or if she is inquisitive about something. I never thought a brush would work since her hair is fairly straight and fine. I WAS WRONG! This FURMINATOR never stops finding hair to brush. On Lucy, most of her loose hair is towards her rear, I’m not sure why. So that’s where I brush her the most. When you see a big glob of hair you know its working.

The only improvement I can attest to, is if they added some sort of hair collector, so I wouldn’t have to pull the hair off the brush after every swipe. After I pull the hair and let it go into the wind, my dog tries to catch it. It’s cute but annoying. Other than that its a fantastic product.

Don’t think twice, it will catch all kinds of hair!

I’ve tried and been disappointed in other pedometers. Not so with this one. It’s accurate, versatile, and, well, cute. We have two of them in our household, competing against each other to see which winds up with the most steps at the end of each day. So they get a lot of use, often well over 10k a cycle. Whether we walk on straight paths or forest trails, up hill or down, the Omrons know what we’re doing and keep track faithfully. It’s simple to set up, seems to withstand the occasional fall from grace onto hard surfaces, and has a memory for what you did yesterday and the couple days before. A healthy addition to your waistline.

I bought this for my mother, who has eyesight challenges at 87 years old and can’t seem to read books in common font sizes, plus the books are often too heavy for her if I get the larger print versions from the library. We had tried all the large magnifying devices, many well over $1000, and there was no way it was going to work. Elderly don’t have the coordination and strength to fool around with decks and other adjustments. They just need to be able to turn on and read. Although she has been very technology resistant, I thought there was a chance between the excellent screen qualities, enlarged font capability and ease of using just the forward and back buttons of the Kindle, and at such a reasonable price I was willing to try it. She can read it! I downloaded her favorite spiritual material, and she can read it! Can’t tell you how wonderful that really, really is. She even is starting to get curious how to use some more of the functions and she might be able to do it (memory of how to comes into play here).
Now, if you want to really make a difference in this world, how about the following – forget that sleek looking all white color and make a version with colored buttons for navigation. Stay away from red because it is the hardest to see for macular degeneration folks – mother does best with greens and blues. Don’t try to hide the on/off switch and make it larger. Then, enlarge the font size of the menus so it is still readable by folks like my mother.
I don’t believe you folks know the MASSIVE positive impact you could have on the elderly in assisted living and elderly living situations with this device by giving reading back to them. These places provide community desktop internet connected computers, but the elderly at the assisted living level don’t use them much and won’t sit in front of such to read. It wouldn’t take much to help caretakers be able to download (along with us relatives who took the initiative), the kindle could really improve
