I previously owned a Hoover SteamVac which I was pretty happy with but lost it in a flood. I bought this one based on reviews I read and was very happy yet again. I actually like this one better than my old one because it’s much lighter but does a wonderful job. My couches and carpets look new again and my dad’s and sister’s cat allergies didn’t bother them at all like usual when they came to visit after I used this cleaner.
Little Ghost Live

First off this book can be enjoyed by anyone, any age. I have read the whole series so far and can’t wait until I can get them all on my kindle. (I live in Canada) The main character Artemis Fowl is 12, rich and most certainly evil. Although as the series progresses he starts to become a bit more human. There is one book where he forgets everything and we’re stuck with the original Artemis before he met Holly… which was very sad. Luckily it didn’t last long. I highly recommend this series I don’t think there is anyone it would not appeal to. This is the first book Enjoy!

As a longtime Journey fan, I think “Live From Manila” holds its own against any other live Journey performance. The band continues to sound great, the playing is top notch all around, and I think Pineda embodies what the rest of the band wants and needs in a front man. He’s energetic and lively, plus playing in front of his hometown probably amped him up a few more levels for this performance. My only knock against the package is that there’s no backstage/interview type of feature. Especially considering Pineda has been in the band about 2 years now, I’d thought this would have been the perfect opportunity to get some one-on-one face time with him. But still, it’s 2 hours and 25 minutes, and it’s $10 at Walmart. That’s just simply an unbeatable deal. (And I realize some people outside the US may not have easy access to a Walmart location, in which case I would say, $20 would not be too much to pay for this package. Any more than that………… you’re on your own.) If you’re in the US, there’s no good reason to be buying this package from online sellers here at Amazon or anywhere else. All the hits are here, as well as a few deeper cuts from the late 70s and early 80s. (As always, one of my favorites “Girl Can’t Help It” is not included, but that’s happened so many times, I can’t/don’t hold that against them.)

And finally, this last part is just a rant. Feel free to skip it if you’d like. Arnel Pineda is a great singer, and he covers Steve Perry’s voice nearly flawlessly. Despite what some angry, bitter people type on places like this, yes, THIS IS JOURNEY. Just because the band doesn’t have the same lead singer anymore, it’s still Journey. (And for the record, Perry was Journey’s 3rd or 4th lead singer, depending on whether or not you count Fleischman). People usually decide what “their” version of a band is based upon what they grew up hearing, and anything that isn’t that exact same version is “fake”. That’s simply not correct. This DVD (along

Where else can you see (hear) all your favorite punks in one film?
The Clay-mation is amazing. I want to buy all the dolls-when are they making them? John Roecker is brilliant. A must see for any true punk rocker.
Live Freaky Die Freaky

In the interest of full disclosure I will admit that I could comprehend no more than ten words from all the vocals. Several were expletives not deleted (for those who remember the Nixon tapes). Nonetheless, the show is an entertaining recreation of an Otto Dix painting of the German Cabaret of Weimar days. Audio discs and some films from a later date are available for those who might want to compare the re-creation (with some modern trappings, of course)with the original.(Lotte Lenya doing her husband’s (Weill) music and Brecht’s lyrics would be appropriate, since the Doll’s claim to be doing her kind of thing,) The stage show and film, Cabaret, would clearly appear to be a more direct source.
There are a variety of other activities on-stage at times to supplement the two central performers (see other reviews). It is unclear how many are professionals and how many are amateur followers, but they provide a necessary diversion from the energetic duo.
All-in-all, for those not shocked by the superficial trappings of cuss words and modestly bizarre dress, the central performance (running perhaps 100+minutes) is just about right for the pleasure not to grow stale with the limitations on two performers even with some help from their friends.
Note: In checking the group out on the internet I found that, while not formally put out of existence, they are in hiatus so that more material from the team may not be forthcoming.
