I am now on my second Hoover Tempo Widepath Upright Vacuum. I bought my first one 2 years ago, and for some reason it stopped working. Although I didn’t like that I needed to buy a new one so soon, the price makes it painless! I thought about trying to get it fixed, but it would be cheaper to buy a new one. The vacuum has great suction, and works better than more expensive vacuums that I have purchased. I would agree though that the cord could be longer. If you are looking for a GREAT inexpensive vacuum, you have found it.

The Furminator worked great. I could not believe how much hair it took off. Both my dogs’ fur was very soft afterwards too. I would recommend this tool to everyone!

Excellent read! Ms. Gruen masters character and plot with beautiful prose. I remained captivated and found myself caring for the diverse cast. Ms. Gruen successfully evokes a sense of the times, the desperate nature of survival during the Depression, as well as one’s attempt to salvage one’s sense of self as age betrays the body. The storyline is suspenseful, true to period, and woven through with a touch of romance. The setting is gritty and evokes the reality of Circus life on the road and the behind-the-scenes work required to attain the magical world the public craves. Well done!

Twilight is a wonderful book! I love the series! VAMPIRES RULE! Alice is my favorite Cullen besides Edward! I think Stephenie Meyer is a WONDERFUL writer! She’s an amazing storyteller! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

I feel like some sort of new religious convert when I find myself talking about the FURminator. I saw the adds on TV when it came out, and thought “Yeah right!”. Then I saw one in my local feed store, and on closer inspection did not thin it was considerably different to a lot of other shedding blades/rakes I’d seen for grooming (I’ve owned horses, dogs, and cats for years). However, there was a money back guarantee if not completely blown away, so I thought I’d give it a chance. It is amazing!!!! I use it on my Labrador and it takes out her undercoat so that if I use it once a week during shedding season we avoid the “cloud of hair” routine that usually occurs every time I pet her. The rest of the year I use it once a month or so and it removes whatever she is normally shedding. It DOES NOT CUT THE HAIR!!! I have heard people say they think it does, and given the amount of hair that comes off with each pull of the brush I can see why they think that is the case…. but if I use it on my dog #1- eventually I am getting less and less hair, and if it was cutting the hair I do not believe that would be the case and #2- if you look at the hair on the FURminator it is not cut, and when I check my dogs coat there is no evidence of a ragged effect that would occur at the time of grooming/or as the hair grew out if it had been cut. I have also used this on my cat with great success (she even likes it) and on my Border Terrier. The Border Terrier should be hand stripped, so this helps with his under coat a bit, but doe not take the place of hand stripping. It is good for between stripping sessions though. I have also lent it to a friend with a Chihuahua with a short slick coat (I was not sure it would work on a coat like that), and she was amazed by the amount of hair she got off of her dog.
