Don’t buy it.. My son received this for christmas and we just spent an hour trying to figure Ucreate Games & Artimation out. It’s not very user friendly and the booklet doesn’t help much. The camera was unreliable, only worked some of the time. The games are hard to play, figure out and create. We couldn’t find the section of the menu where you can do the artmaition. I assumed there would be a separate part where you could take or draw pictures and animate them, but we could not figure out how to get to that part of the program. We will be returning this product.
This is JUNK!. My daughter wanted this so badly for Christmas. Santa came through (of course!), but this thing is absolute junk. We got it to work out of the box, but the options were very limited and choppy. In going in the next day, we were only able to use the “puzzles” feature, which is no fun. After many attempts to fix this and much research online into possible soultions, I only found more people with similar problems. This is going back and Santa is “exhanging” this for a Flip video camera.
Can’t register so most of the games don’t work. My son bought this with a birthday gift card. He was very excited by the promise of the device, but we haven’t been able to try most of its features.
The problem is that until you register the software, most of the games are turned off. However, when we try to register, we get a message “error while connecting to server. Please try again.” We have done so again and again to no avail.
I have started the registration process from scratch several times and even deleted and reinstalled the software, but the same error occurs. Throughout this time there has been no problem with our internet connection.
This was on a Mac running OS 10.5.8. Since other people seem to be able to get it to work, we’ll wait another day or two and try again.
